NEMO - Music Festival - Boston
NEMO Music Festival Now Accepting Artist Submissions For 2004 Music Showcases September 30 to October 2, 2004.

Charging into its eighth year, The NEMO Music Festival & Conference is one of North America's premier music industry events, and is the third largest music conference in North America. NEMO takes place in Boston, a city renowned for being a hotbed of new talent, breaking new acts, and the home of The Berklee School of Music. With three nights of music featuring nearly 250 artists from around the world performing in the areas premiere nightclubs and the prestigious Boston Music Awards (now in its 16th year). The festival showcases all genres of music from Hip-Hop to Rock, to Singer-Songwriter, etc.

Highlights from past NEMO showcases include performances by De La Soul, Gangstarr, Aerosmith, Godsmack, Linkin Park, Staind, Kristin Hersh,, Guster, The Union Underground, Howie Day, Kittie, and many more.

There are two full days of panel discussions, industry workshops, clinics and a bustling industry trade show. So, if music is what you love, and the business of music is what you live, NEMO is the place to be.

ISC - The International Songwriting Competition
The International Songwriting Competition is now taking entries for the 2004 competition. The ISC is now in it's 3rd year, and apart from giving away over $100,000 in cash and merchandise, the ISC has the most impressive judging panel for any songwriting competition in the world. In just two years, the competition is already receiving over 11,000 entries from 60 countries and looks to grow even more in the coming years. The contest is open to all songwriters and covers 16 categories including R&B/Hip-Hop. Judges for ISC 2003 included:
